Most handles are easy to maintain, and should keep their original finish

  • All our handles are excellent quality and should provide many years of use under normal working conditions. Please adhere to the following care instructions to ensure they keep as good as new.

  • Our selection of handles originates from many different suppliers and manufacturers and therefore varying finishes and manufacturing methods are used.
  • Some handles have a natural, untreated finish, but most have a plating/lacquer applied (or both) to protect the material and prevent oxidisation, and sometimes for aesthetic purposes as well.
  • To clean your handles a damp cloth is what we recommend, (soapy if required)
make sure the handles are fully dry, as staining may occur, if you wish to give your handles an extra edge, we can also suggest giving them a polish with some non-abrasive wax polish, once the polish has been buffed of, your handles with give you that extra gleam.

Remember

  • Never use any abrasive products on the handles.
  • Detergents or solvents should not be used and will damage and discolour the handles.
  • A small amount of Beeswax on a soft cloth may be applied to help protect the handles.

Failure to care for your handles in the correct way will invalidate your guarantee.
